Firm Profile

Reese Design Collaborative was founded in October 1994 by Architect H. Gibbs Reese, AIA to provide clientele with the design and development of corporate interior space. Incorporating his abilities as a registered architect, his unique knowledge has been assembled through previous experience as a corporate architect for a major financial institution and later as founder of a successful furniture dealership where he was Vice President of the company’s design component.

In the late 1990’s he was joined in the firm by his daughter, Stephanie Reese McCrery, IIDA and son-in-law, Bryan McCrery. Stephanie is a Kentucky Certified Interior Designer and Bryan is an architectural designer. In January 2008, Mr. and Mrs. McCrery assumed the daily operations and management of the firm. A year later, in January 2009, they purchased the company and began the second generation of leadership for the firm with Mrs. McCrery serving as President and Mr. McCrery serving as Vice President of the firm. Mr. Reese continues to practice architecture and utilize his established career and relationships to expand the business at Reese Design Collaborative.

Together Mr. and Mrs. McCrery have established a strong reputation of integrity, creativity and quality. Reese Design Collaborative is passionately committed to an integrated design process. We listen carefully and always keep our client’s vision at the forefront of every design solution. We continually strive to make our work highly responsive to the needs of our clients and enriching to the lives of the people and communities it serves.

Our clients are diverse and include small specialty stores, a large variety of corporate and financial entities, select local and state agencies, ecumenical groups, senior health care organizations, office building property management companies and non-profit organizations. Each is unique and valued by our entire enthusiastic design team.
