DESIGN: Mountain Manor wanted to add a licensed skilled nursing memory care wing to their existing campus in Paintsville Kentucky. We helped them with their addition as well as their two-story independent living apartments and their master planning efforts. The new addition houses 14 memory care residents and was designed in a comfortable and home-like environment.  In order to make the home feel more intimate, smaller gathering spaces were created.  To disguise the required nurses’s stations, they were incorporated into the residential kitchens.  Each home was designed with its own colors, finishes and utilized local themes to allow the residents to better recognize their surroundings.
